Facebook Data Deletion
Last updated: July 12, 2026
What Facebook data Booxt holds
If you connected your Facebook Page to Booxt (the “Connect Facebook” button in your dashboard), we store exactly this, and nothing else, from Facebook:
- Your Facebook Page’s ID and name, and the linked Instagram business account ID (if any)
- The access tokens Facebook issued so Booxt can publish the posts you approve
- The Facebook user ID of the account that made the connection
Booxt never stores your Facebook password, friends, messages, or personal profile content.
Delete it automatically (recommended)
- On Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites).
- Find Booxt and remove it.
- Choose the option to send a data deletion request when Facebook offers it.
Facebook notifies us the moment you do this. We delete the stored tokens and page connection records immediately and hand Facebook a confirmation code, which Facebook shows you with a link back to this page.
Or delete it from Booxt
- In your Booxt dashboard: Settings → Connected accounts → Disconnect. This revokes Booxt’s access at Facebook and drops the stored tokens.
- Or email privacy@booxt.io from the email on your account and we’ll do it within 30 days (usually same day).
What deletion does not touch
Deleting your Facebook data removes Booxt’s access and every Facebook identifier and token we hold. Posts already published on your own Facebook Page belong to your Page and stay there (delete them on Facebook if you want them gone). Your Booxt business records — estimates, invoices, customers, job photos — are separate from Facebook and are covered by our Privacy Policy.
Confirmation codes
A deletion confirmation code (shown by Facebook, or in the box at the top of this page when you arrive from Facebook’s link) means the deletion already completed on our side. Questions about a code? Email privacy@booxt.iowith the code and we’ll confirm what was deleted and when.
